Dear Companions and Sir Knights,
It is with great regret that I inform you that the District 3 Spring Festival to be held April 14th & 21st at the Tampa York Rite Bodies, is being postponed until the fall.
Due to the change in dates from our usual first two Saturdays in March to April, some degree teams are having difficulty in filling key parts. After conferring with several degree masters, it was felt that the degrees and orders could not be done correctly. Rather than try to confer the degrees and orders without major parts being read, it’s was felt that the Spring Festival should be postponed until the fall (October 6th and 13th). This will not only give the degree teams time to fill those key roles, but also allow us to have a bigger class than the 8 candidates currently scheduled.
Degree masters, please notify your degree teams of this postponement. Secretary/Recorders, please contact your candidates and inform them of this change.
