Fernandina Beach York Rite Bodies Install New Officers for 2018

The Fernandina Beach York Rite Bodies Installed their new officers on Monday, January 8, 2018. Crusader Commandery No. 44, K. T., installed Sir Knight Gary Orlando as Eminent Commander. Sir Knight Rodney Moody was installed as Generalissimo; and David “Danny” Johnson was installed as Captain General. Jacksonville York Rite Bodies Install 2018 Officers

The Jacksonville York Rite Bodies on January 4, 2018 installed their new officers at the Jacksonville York Rite Temple. Damascus Commandery No. 2, K. T., installed Mark Balester as Eminent Commander. The Installing Officer was C. Robert Cooper, KYGCH, MEPGHP, PGSWB of the Grand Commandery.   Jacksonville Chapter No. 12, R. A. M. installed David Gregory as Excellent High Priest. The Grand Installing Officer was Glenn E. Chandler, KYGCH, Grand Governor of Florida, for the York Rite Sovereign College of North America, MEPGHP, of the Grand Chapter, R. A. M. of Florida. District 3 Christmas Observance

District 3 of the Grand York Rite of Florida held its third annual Christmas observance on December 13, 2017 at the Masonic Home. There were about 30 Sir Knights in uniform in attendance as well as several residences of the Masonic Home. Grand York Rite District 7 Meeting Held in Jacksonville on November 18, 2017 The Companions and Sir Knights of Grand York Rite District 7 met in the York Rite Temple in Jacksonville on Saturday, November 18, 2017. The Grand Y. R. Presiding Officers and many other Grand Y. R. officers were present, as were many of the local York Rite body officers, Companions and Sir Knights. 2018 Souvenir Program

Dear Companions and Sir Knights: The members of your Grand York Rite Souvenir Program Committee are pleased to announce that we have begun our efforts early this year to sell ads for our 2018 Souvenir Program. We have several objectives to accomplish: To increase the ads from previous years, To publish an enticing, professional and informative Souvenir Program in COLOR, To financially help offset a portion of the Grand Convention expenses, To include 1⁄2 page ads for the Masonic Youth groups FREE of charge, To publish the sponsors on the Florida Grand York Rite web site for the ensuing year and, To have FREE memorial page(s) for ALL Companions and Sir Knights listing their Mother Blue Lodge and York Rite bodies only along with their date of birth and the date they passed on. In order for us to meet our objectives, we need the help and assistance of all our Companions and Sir Knights. How can you help? Here are some ways. First: Have your York Rite Bodies purchase an ad. Second: Have the Companions become boosters and purchase a name line which will be included in the program. (2018 Gold Supporters) Third: Go out and sell, sell, sell and sell some more. Sell ads to your local Blue Lodges, Appendant Bodies, Masters & Wardens Associations, Masonic brethren that are business owners and local businesses in your area. Target businesses with which you may have some influence. Don’t forget the Ladies organizations! Fourth: Check your spelling especially, if you are mailing your ad.
