Mark Balester Receives Grand Commandery Meritorious Service Ribbon

Sir Knight Mark Balester, S.W. of Damascus Commandery No. 2, K.T. in Jacksonville, on July 14, 2015 was presented with the Florida Grand Commandery Meritorious Service Ribbon.

Sir Knight Mark was unable to be at the Grand York Rite Convention for the Grand Commandery Conclave on May 18, 2015 when the awards were announced.  Up to only eight such ribbons may be awarded annually in the state.  Sir Knight Thomas A. Olsen, Commander of Damascus Commandery No. 2, accepted the award for him then.
