Knights Templar at Jacksonville Beach Easter Sunrise Service

Several Sir Knights joined worshipers at the 65th Annual Easter Sunrise Service at the SeaWalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach on Sunday, April 5, 2015.

A number of Churches near the beach cooperate every year to put on an ecumenical Easter Service as the sun comes up over Jacksonville beach. The Sir Knights assist other ushers in taking up the collection from the crowd.

Pictured here were the Sir Knights in uniform, with the pavilion and lightening sky behind them. From left to right were: Steve Urban, Jr., Generalissimo of St. Augustine Commandery No. 10; Thomas Olsen, Commander, Damascus Commandery No. 2; Rusty M. Ludlam, PC, DDGHP, Y. R. District 8; C. Robert Cooper, KYCH, PGSWB, PDDGC, R. Ex. Grand Scribe, Grand Chapter, R.A.M. of Florida, Sec.-Recorder of the Jacksonville Y. R. Bodies; and Corbin P. Elliott, KYCH, PDDGC, KCT, of Damascus Commandery No. 2, K.T.

A good number of other Blue Lodge Masons were also present, as the Brothers from Ribault Lodge No. 272, F. & A. M. of Jacksonville Beach were providing complimentary coffee and donuts for the early morning worshipers.
