The meeting of the 5th District of the Florida York Rite Bodies was held July 23, 2016 at Leesburg Lodge in Leesburg Florida. There were 82 present including ladies. We were also honored with the presence of M:. W:. Stanley L. Hudson, Grand Master of Masons of Florida and the Grand Marshal, R:. W:. Douglas Ankeny.
M:. W:. Hudson spoke to the craft after lunch. The Grand master stated how the future and life of Masonry is in our own hands. With the acceptance of the new generation of millennials, who are light years ahead of us technologically, we must act and react quickly to keep their attention and to keep them active. M:. W:. Hudson praised District 5 for having such a large turnout of York Rite Masons for their District Meeting.
