Gainesville York Rite Summer Festival

Dear Companions and Sir Knights, The Gainesville York Rite Bodies are planning a Festival conferring the Degrees and Orders of our Rite, and your Bodies are invited to participate with us.  Your candidates are very welcome to share the instruction that we will attempt to impart.  We will eat prior to each conferring and in many cases, afterward.  The schedule is listed here. 2017 Summer Festival Dates: Mark Master and Past Master on Tuesday, 7-18-2017. Eat at 6:30 pm and confer the degrees at 7:15 pm. Most Excellent Master and Holy Royal Arch on Saturday, 7-22-17.  Eat light lunch at 1:00 pm and confer the degrees at 1:45.  With a good supper at closing around 6:00 pm. Royal Master and Select Master on Tuesday, 8-1-2017.  Eat at 6:30 pm, begin conferring degrees at 7:15 pm. Illustrious Order of the Red Cross on Friday, 8-11-2017.  Supper at 6:30 pm, conferral at 7:15 pm. Order of Malta and the Order of the Temple on Saturday, 8-12-2017.  Eat a light lunch at 1:00 pm and begin the Orders at 1:45.  With a good supper at closing around 6:00 pm. Council and Commandery Degrees and Orders Conferred at Jacksonville Festival

The Cryptic Degrees and Chivalric Orders were conferred upon four new Select Masters and Sir Knights on Friday night and Saturday, September 23 & 24, 2016 at the Jacksonville Fall York Rite Festival. The new Companions and Sir Knights were Coley Bagosius, Rodney Housand, Ron Baxter and Hal Scott Inglis. The Council Degrees were conferred by Athelstan Council No. 46. The Commandery Orders were conferred by a Barnett/Calahan Lodge team, Crusader Commandery No. 44, and Damascus Commandery No. 2. The Florida statewide Allied Masonic Degrees (A.M.D.) Festival was held in Leesburg, Florida on Saturday, July 30, 2016   Several degrees were conferred, and a paper was presented by George H. Wolf A.M.D. Council No. 387.
